Gravity Conveyor is a complex business game focusing on all aspects of teamwork including inter-team working. The exercise requires teams to co-operate in the construction of a free standing structure capable of delivering a ball, under gravity, through each team’s construction area. The design has to meet customer needs, health and safety criteria, and be financially viable. The task emphasises the importance of handovers and collaboration across work groups. This activity is a great metaphor where organisations need to provide a seamless service or product for their customers. This can only be achieved if all teams are aligned to the same goal.
A facilitator will lead a review to relate learning back to the workplace.
This business game can be run indoors or outdoors and really taps into teamwork. It is ideal as a conference event, or to add a team building element to a meeting, seminar or training course.
